Watershed Unit Curriculum Integration Supplement

The Watershed Unit Curriculum Supplement is designed to assist teachers with incorporating the Watershed Explorers VR learning experience into a watershed unit and presents field trip ideas for the Lehigh Gap Nature Center, Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center, and the Delaware & Lehigh Heritage Corridor Nation Canal Museum. The curriculum enhancement learning activities are intended to be incorporated into a watershed unit, but many of the ideas branch off into other areas of science and other content areas beyond the watershed unit. These ideas are intended to enable teachers to spark classroom conversations, both before and after a field trip visit, to help students to get excited about learning more about the world around them.  The document contains standards alignments, suggested discussion questions, learning extension ideas, interdisciplinary project ideas, and standardized test preparation questions.
